FREE TRANSPORTATION IN BELMONT COUNTY
The Community Action Commission of Belmont County, Inc.
provides free transportation to qualified residents of Belmont County who have no income, are low income or are disabled.
We can take you to your medical or social service appointments within Belmont County and the surrounding counties Monday
thru Friday. You are limited to 1 social service and 1 medical appointment per week. Special exemptions to this rule can
be authorized thru our offices for medical reasons. These appointments must be between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm depending upon
where you live. We ask for a 3 working day notice for social service appointment.
If you are on Ohio Medicaid and need transported to a medical
appointment, the state requires a 10 working day notice for approval processing thru the Belmont County Dept. of Jobs and Family
Services.
A note to Medicaid recipients, if you live on a bus line and
are going to a medical appointment that is also on a bus line you will have to contact the Advantage Van service of the East
Ohio Regional Transit Authority. Call us for the details and to see if we can help you.
